My rendition of the Fortell, a 3X10 layered keyboard
I’ve been wanting to try my hand at transcribing music for awhile, but never got into the mood to do so. At least now I know to appreciate those transcribers out there, because seriously, it’s an extremely time consuming and difficult process (especially for someone without perfect pitch). Anyways, here’s my first attempt at transciption, Secret from Symphonic Rain.
I suppose it’s a little too easy for most people, but whatever, I’ll just excuse myself by saying that it keeps in style with the game, ‘difficult enough to master with a few practices’. On to the next song Nevermind, I give up on transcription lol. Gonna go play someone else’s transcriptions instead.
Note: Scribbler is awsome for random sketching. Makes even the crappiest of drawings look good.

Zomg. I got a beta key today. But just as I got into a game, the servers shut down and kicked me out 15 minutes in while giving me constant reminders that “The system will shut down in X minutes”. RAAGGGEEE. Apparently this is how blizzard uploads patches… Anyway, a recent patch made it possible to play super awesome custom user maps on multiplayer, so that means you can play tower defense, cat n mouse, and a whole bunch more that I don’t remember right now (can’t wait for Simpsons, golems, and cannon defense 
). Speaking of custom maps, the included galaxy editor (that was made available in an earlier patch) is quite comprehensive and complex, allowing you to do a lot of cool stuff. It’s so cool, I can almost forgive the decade long development process and the fact that it should be all one game, not part of a trilogy. Nonetheless, its still awesome and I will probably take July 26th off to wait in line with all the other fanbois.

After reading milfslayer’s post, i realized, how are we supposed to call ourself a tech blog without thousands of iTampax, ipad posts? So here, I know I’m late, but better late than never.
The iPad is the best, most revolutionary, mostest magicallest piece of fairy dust hardware ever created, as envisioned by the living god that is -HeWhoShallNotBeNamed- (jobes). It is the gr8st ebook reader in the world, cause i just enjoy reading shit off of a blindingly bright and reflective screen, cause i fkn hate myself. And, who else in the world would have imagined that u can play board games on it too? Scrabble, anyone? Why pay 15bucks for the game when u can buy urself an ipad and 4 ipods + 3 other retard friends who are willing to go through this idiotic routine with u? Do i make sense? I do? Okay moving on. And all those books and whatever app ecosystem? Well HWSNBN says flash is suxors so it must be true, cause im a pompous apple loving douchebag who likes to toss around phrases like “macs dont get viruses” or “it just works”. Funny how all t3h peeps in teh blogospheres *coughBGRcough* were sayin that if the ipad were like what the ipad is like it would be trash. until HWSNBN actually announced it, then it became the bestest most magicallest device ever thought up. I call these guys posers, cause i been rootin’ and yankin jobes’ penis from day 1, and what these posers show us is a typical “shit to sugar” attitude. If any other tech company had come up with the ipad, they would have been crucified and mocked. But no, our awesome jobes has a trick up his sleeve; his reality distortion field (wrong use of semi-colon, watev4r). and the geniuses who buy this shit has to buy a bunch of accessories docks dongles keyboards and then claim how great of a computer it is. Jobes” reality distortion field is a strong one, indeed. Netbooks have all been completely wiped out of his victims’ vocabularies. Some even love their ipads so much they claim to have sold their laptops. That is delusion at its finest.
who needs to carry around a simple 7″ netbook when u got this singletasking piece of shit?

I mean how can ANY tech related blog not post about apple’s latest and greatest hygienic computing product. Steve Jobs you’ve outdone yourself once again. Only a genius can sell a product that has so little (no camera, no multitasking, no phone) for so much and to so many. I mean you would probably have more functionality just plugging an iphone to a bigger screen. Regardless, i welcome our new apple overlords for giving us the glorious age of tablet computing, if you can still call whatever the ipad does computing. Then again who wants real computing nowadays? The great thing about the ipad is not all the stuff you can’t do on it, but showing all your friends your shitty piece of hardware

Spore sucks as a game. Great ideas but not so much in execution. I wanted a sims like experience, not a fricking myriad of gameplay form MMORPGs, RTSs, and thtat stupid eating fish flash game. Worst of all it can’t even manage to control as good as those games. That is all.

Quite contrary to my co-blogger’s opinion below; the 4870 x2 is simply fantastic (despite poor driver and game support as of this moment.). It is the single fastest card money can buy, yes, faster than nv’s gtx 280
by 25% on regular resolutions and up to 51% on high res. cite: TomsHardwareGuide. nVidias bumbling mammoth-sized GPUs have been beaten by ATi’s fast and agile multi-GPU solution. Way to go AMD! In other news, nvidia’s G84/G86 chips are apparently ALLLLLL defective regardless whether it is a desktop or laptop. This defect sure is kicking nvidia in the crotch. Much like the old man with the football to the groin (simpsons), nvidia can do nothing except shrivel up in the fetal position on the ground and take deep breaths. . I wanted to include a photo of hans moleman getting nailed in the groin by a footbal; but couldnt find the photo in 30secs so settled with someone getting kicked in the groin.

Quick Update: Our holy graphics maker Nvidia has just released their FREE geforce power packs which enables PhysX technology using CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) in all geforce cards 8 series and above! Best of all it includes plenty of stuff in the package to test out the new toys, including tech demos, unreal engine stuff, drivers to make it work, and warmonger (PhysX original shawcase) totalling 2719 mb in all! What are you waiting for nV owner? Experience real-time physics like the kids over at ATI never could! Oh and dont feel totally left out ATI fanboys, the 4870×2 just came out. Too bad ATI driver and game support suck so much!

I havn’t posted a fanboyish post about AMD in awhile and, to be honest, miss it a little. So here is another post about the greatest company in the whole wide world$!!!!!!!!! Their stock is at a new low of $4.21/ share. If i had a million bucks right now I would go invest in them, but I dont have that kind of pocketchange lying around, sorry AMD. They recently also got a new CEO and finally got rid of Hector Ruiz. That guy hasnt bee doing much good for AMD recently, kudos to AMD for getting rid of him. aPple (<- lowercase first letter to deote disrespect for them) is rumored to be ignoring intel centrino motevina chipsets. Normally I would not give any attention to apple since..they are the spawn of satan. But i hate intel more, so even if they switched to nvidia chipsets id be plenty happy. Also in other news. TSMC (a TAIWANESE COMPANY W00t) is developing 40nm and 45nm production simultaneously, and will be ready by 09!!!! This is a major leap forward for GPU, as it represents the first time that GPU will be produced at a smaller node than CPUs. (cite: TomsHardwareGuide). Intel will still be using 45nm for awhile. TSMC is the foundry that ATi
and nvidia both have contracted to produce their gpu chips. This also means that GPU performance is starting to be more important than CPU performance (w00t AMD/ATi merger, and a bit to hector). In addition, AMD’s Shrike mobile platform will debut next year, I can not wait for it!! Amd still has not decided to build their NewYork fabrication facility. They have 1 more year to decide or the 1.x billion USD in funding will be off…..

I’m not gonna bother pointing out their pivotal role for the market or the advancements they have helped push forward by providing competition and pressure on the oligopoly.
